The oratory of the Saints Bellino and Matteois located in San Mauretto, this diminutive isused to distinguish it from the village of San Mauro, even if the latter is smaller and situated further north.
The oratory is dedicated to these saints who are called upon against river floods. The present church was certainly built after 1678, when the flood broke the Tagliamento banks and demolished the old oratory.
It was last renovated in 1983. It was built with a rectangular nave, while the ceiling has visible beams. There is a small sacristybehind the altar.
On the ridge of the façade a little tower with conic peak serves asbell tower.
The hamletof San Mauretto is divided into two original parts, one of which was adjacentthe river bank and the other is located around an oratory on the road with direction east-west.
We have had news of this little church since 1678, when a violent flood knocked it down; further written testimonies say there was also "a house of the town council with a prison next to it".
This smallhamlet, that was municipality until 1805, still shows a fresco of good workmanship; this is therefore a sign that here were elegant buildings.
